Today, I will make the onion steak seasoned with teriyaki sauce. I sandwich minced meat with sliced onion, and cook them to be savory. In Japan, the dishes with the teriyaki sauce is very popular, and I share the teriyaki chicken's recipe before. Today by using onions as a main ingredient, I will make healthy hamburge steak. Juicy onions are very delicious, and it's nice combination with teriyaki sauce. I recommend it for dinner. I hope you like my recipe.
Put the bread crumbs and milk, and mix them (To soak the bread crumbs in milk).
Mix the seasonings in a bowl.
Cut one onion into 4 equal pieces. Cut the other one in the same way.
Sprinkle the one side of onion pieces with potato starch.
Mix the minced meat, some salt and black pepper in a bowl.
Add the beaten egg and the mixture of bread crumbs and milk, and mix them.
Divide the fillings into 4 pieces, and place it on top of onion sprinkled with potato starch.
Cover with onions sprinkled with potato starch. Hold it firmly to stick them together.
Heat up a frying-pan with some oil, and fry the onion steak over medium heat for 4 minutes.
After checking that the onion has been browned, turn over them, and fry for 3 minutes in the same way.
Turn the heat to low, add some water. Cover, and steam them for 4 minutes.
Wipe off the excess oil, and add the teriyaki sauce. Boil down the sauce until it has a bit thicker.
During it, sprinkle the sauce from above with a spoon (The reason for not turning it over is to prevent the onions from collapsing).
Add the butter to the pan, and mix well.
Serve the onion steak on a plate, and drizzle the teriyaki sauce. Sprinkle the chopped parsley, and it's done.
